Palo Alto  The Senior Technical Support Engineer will manage Linux server environments using the command line interface to troubleshoot issues, project manage technical launches, and manage and mentor junior team members. You should have 5-7 years experience working in a Linux/Unix environment supporting a enterprise client base, possess Linux/Unix programming skill sets (perl required), and have working knowledge of relational databases (postgresql or mysql).

At Socialtext, you will work with a distributed team, solving challenging problems in social and collaborative software with exceptional peers. The primary role of this position will be focused on client-side technologies, although there will be ample opportunity to work on server side technologies.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Palo Alto  As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to create, deploy, and operate the automated test systems used to validate the functional correctness and performance capabilities of Socialtext applications, infrastructure, and third party integrations. You will use these systems to create acceptance and regression test suites. You will work closely with product management and development teams to develop domain expertise, understand customer issues, assess risk, set automation priorities, and define and verify acceptance tests. You will also modernize and improve our integration, API, functional, mobile, and end-to-end test capability and coverage.
