    Computer History Museum To Present Tonight At Wiki Wednesday!

    Socialtext invites you to attend an evening with the The Software Collection Committee (SCC) of the Computer History Museum. Currently the museum is exploring how to collect software in support of the museum’s mission.

    The work of the SCC includes:

    • Preserving and collecting software
    • Identifying and working with other people preserving and collecting software
    • Sponsoring and assisting software preservation and collection activity

    Bernard Peuto and Paul McJonesof the SCC will give a brief presentation on the SCC and solicit input from the wiki community on how wikis can be used to support this work and the overall mission of the Computer History Museum.

    The event will be held at Sociatext offices:

    655 high Street in Palo Alto, Please RSVP on the Wiki Food and Drinks will be served, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
