Last month, Socialtext had the good fortune of participating in an interesting event with People-OnTheGo discussing wikis and how they are revolutionizing collaboration. Roughly 100 folks attended the event.
During the live webinar, the key benefits of wikis were outlined including how wikis accelerate project cycle times, reduce email overload, cut search costs, unleash ideas trapped in email, as well as how wikis help organizations tap into social networks for greater knowledge sharing and innovation. A live demonstration of the Socialtext business-grade wiki was also provided for the webinar attendees.
Although the webinar was not recorded, there were some valuable follow-up materials posted online including an excerpt of the Socialtext presentation slides and the full Q&A from the event. The Q&A includes some specific use-case questions, as well as details on common feature requirements that customers, like you, might consider when expanding their wiki use or during the course of evaluating whether wikis make sense for your business.
