  • New wiki study from IDC

An interesting new report was just released by the analysts at IDC. The report discusses how “wikis offer individuals and teams Web 2.0 style collaborative work environments for easy and quick content authoring, sharing, publication, and feedback capture.”

The report highlights the significant adoption of wikis today by businesses. Based on “IDC’s 1Q07 AppStats survey, nearly a quarter of the 258 U.S. respondents reported that wikis are already in use at their organizations.”

The full report is available for “free download”:/files/IDC_Socialtext_Brief_June2007_v2.pdf.
