Socialtext recently participated in an online webinar event hosted by Campus Technology magazine, a higher education focused publication read by over 50,000 senior-level managers, that focused on how Web 2.0 technologies, like wikis and online communities, are redefining education and providing campuses with tools that enable true collaboration and create new standards for learning and instruction.
The webinar included social networking expert Howard Rheingold and Boston College’s Jerry Kane sharing strategies on how they use wikis to stimulate discussion, capture and share knowledge, and better support students and improve their academic performance. The webinar had over 1,000 attendees on the live event and even got mentioned in some recent blogs, like here and here. If you missed the event and want to watch the on-demand, archived version to learn more – click here.
