For a company to be successful, they must have more than just a great product, they have to have great people.
I’m privileged to work with amazing people here at Socialtext.
For example, earlier this week Ross Mayfield was named one of the eight influencial leaders in the CRM community by CRM Magazine. This follows eWeek previously naming Ross one of the top 100 influential people in IT.
His latest blog post, The CRM Iceberg and Social Software, is a perfect example of how he helps customers learn how technology and culture are both evolving and growing in this new era of Enterprise 2.0 and social media.
This blog has also introduced you to other great industry minds, such as Michael Idinopulos and his wildly popular Social Software Value Matrix, Adina Levin who always offers fantastic insight such as The Org Chart Is Not The Network, and our CEO Eugene Lee.
Computing legends such as Dan Bricklin and Audrey Tang are members of the incredible team here, working in one of the most dedicated and talented Development, Quality Engineering, and Support groups I’ve ever seen.
Numerous Socialtext-er’s have blogs that you may wish to follow, such as:
- Matt Heusser – A true leader, and frequent speaker in the Agile development world
- Luke Closs – Open source developer extraordinaire, and awesome juggler!
- Gabe Wachob – If there is a new social media site or API, Gabe’s played with it.
- Scott Schnaars – Sales executive extraordinaire, who cares more about his customers being happy than just closing the deal.
Customers want to work with vendors they trust. Vendors they can learn from. Vendors that can help them successfully use their products to solve business needs. These things are all based as much on people, as they are on product. From the Leadership Team down, Socialtext is made up of top notch people. I’m proud to work here, and proud to have you as our customer.
