Sarah Nichols serves as the Director of Knowledge Management at the ClimateWorks Foundation. Prior to joining ClimateWorks, Ms. Nichols was a consultant specializing in the marketing of knowledge management technologies, and in the development of KM strategies for small to midsize companies. She also served as the Global Director of Research and Information Resources at the law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. There, she led a team of information professionals and worked with attorneys to deliver optimal knowledge management and research services to the firm and its clients. Ms. Nichols was also with McKinsey & Company as a regional Director of Research and Information Resources, where she re-engineered the West Coast research and knowledge management operation. Sarah is committed to helping organizations move from knowledge management to knowledge exchange, using enterprise social software as a foundation. She is a published author on contract negotiation and vendor relationships, and in her spare time she writes marketing collateral, web content, scripts, narration and does voice-overs for small performing arts organizations.
